How to Become a Member of the NGCL

To become a member of the NGCL, certain criteria must be met by all prospective members.

The NGCL prides itself on the integrity and high skill levels of all the Locksmith Engineers in our directory; this is why we have put certain conditions in place to become a member. If you are a fully trained locksmith who treats customers with respect, then it won’t be hard for you to match and maintain the criteria set by the NGCL. Below are the conditions we set for our memberships, if you have any questions about these, then please feel free to get in touch and we can go through them with you in more detail.

All NGCL Members must meet existing Engineer joining requirements.

(These will already be in place if you are an existing Keytek® Engineer).

Membership Entry Requirements

  • A current DBS check
  • Current Public Liability Insurance
  • Be a minimum of Level 3 qualified, covering required units
  • Continued work at desired levels of customer service
  • Continued work of acceptable levels in regard to on-site workmanship

Any potential member must also undergo ongoing skill and customer service assessments which include:

  • Whilst out on the road
  • Within the NGCL training facility
  • Via various online mediums
  • Agree to Customer call-back reviews

If you decide that joining the NGCL and becoming a member is for you, all you need to do initially is drop us an email to enquiries@thengcl.co.uk and someone from the recruitment team will be in touch to discuss requirements in more detail.
